Youth Scholarship Fund

Dallas United Crew is committed to making rowing more accessible and diverse. Unfortunately, the high costs of equipment, travel, and fees have excluded many who could benefit from this life-changing sport.

Rowing provides exceptional opportunities for personal growth and community building. The skills of leadership, teamwork, hard work, perseverance, and determination stay with rowers for life. Furthermore, many junior rowers gain access to higher education through athletic scholarships or stronger competitive profiles, thanks to their involvement in this sport. DUC has supported hundreds of middle and high school students in our youth rowing programs, and we continue to be inspired by their progress.

Thanks to our generous donors, we allocate thousands of dollars each season for scholarships, ensuring that no one is turned away from rowing due to financial constraints. In 2024 alone, SRA contributed over $30,000 in scholarship assistance to rowers in need.

Registration Support

Support local student-athletes today!

Every year, many middle and high school students in our community aspire to join the sports teams that help them stay active, learn teamwork, and build lifelong skills. But for too many, the cost of registration is a barrier they can't overcome.

Together, we can change this. By donating to our registration support fund, you can ensure that every aspiring athlete has the chance to participate in rowing.

Here's how your contribution will make a difference:

  • $599 - $899 sponsors a middle school athlete for an entire season

  • $2,300 sponsors a high school athlete for an entire season

Join us in championing our local athletes and making a lasting impact on their lives.

Travel Support

Each year, hundreds of student-athletes in our community strive to reach their full potential, not just in sport, but in life. Our Youth Scholarship Fund is a crucial lifeline for these talented young people, ensuring they have the opportunity to compete against their peers at state, regional, and national regattas.
