WACO, TEXAS - The inaugural “Waco Head to Head” did not disappoint as the High School team took to the Brazos River to face off against familiar competition from Texas. The DUC crews went “head to head” against teams from Houston and Austin over the course of 3500 meters for some exciting racing.

NEW FORMAT, COMPETITVE RACING

For this year’s edition of the Waco November regatta, the format featured a “side by side” component. The race procedure was the same as any standard head race, however, two crews started at the same time in adjacent lanes.

STRONG RACING ACROSS THE DAY

DUC showed its strengths in the eights and fours as both U17/U19 teams of the men and women captured podium finishes in their events. From a highly competitive race in the Womens Youth Eight, to double podium finishes in the Mens Eight and Mens Youth Four, DUC certainly showcased its form.
